Oscar Eriksson Furunes: GLITRA

GLITRA revolves around material, surface, and transformation. Drawing on queer historical archives, Furunes explores the tension between the fleeting and the enduring, the visible and the opaque. Furunes gives overlooked narratives new resonance, transforming fragments into visual worlds that bear witness to lives lived. The exhibition shifts conventional historical narratives and invities reflection on how these stories shape our understanding of community and identity today.

The exhibition opens on Thursday, June 18, from 5-7 pm.

Oscar Eriksson Furunes (b. 1991) is a Norwegian-Swedish artist and architect. He graduated from the Malmö Art Academy in 2023 and has since exhibited internationally.
