Seven Deaths is a cinematic opera installation in which the internationally acclaimed performance artist Marina Abramović stages death in seven of the most iconic female roles in opera history.
At Cisternerne, visitors will experience all seven films in a sequence lasting approximately one hour, in an immersive presentation specifically tailored to the dark underground architecture of Cisternerne.
The introduction is a fifteen-minute intro above ground, introducing the space and current exhibition, to best prepare you before you go underground.
Practical information
For a visit to Cisternerne, we recommend that you wear flat shoes and bring warm clothes, as it is cold in the underground chambers.

Booking must be done via the booking button above no later than 1 week before the desired date. Questions can be mailed to cisternerne@frederiksbergmuseerne.dk.
Cancellation
Cancellation of a booked introduction must be done no later than 1 week before the start of the tour by mail to cisternerne@frederiksbergmuseerne.dk. By cancellations later than this, we cannot refund the booking fee.
