Meet opera’s many colourful villains as singers from the Royal Danish Academy of Music and the Opera Academy take audiences on a journey into the darkest corners of the human mind.
In the subterranean chambers of Cisternerne, the cool atmosphere and extraordinary acoustics give darkness a voice of its own. Come face to face with seducers, witches, tyrants, and other demonic characters during an unforgettable evening in the company of opera’s most sinister figures.
Hot and cold beverages will be available to purchase during the concert. Please dress warmly, as Cisternerne is both cool and damp.
The event is part of Golden Days.
Please note that Marina Abramović’s current exhibition, Seven Deaths, will not be available to experience during this event, as the installation will be switched off.
